Summer afternoon concerts are coming back to Lincoln Square! Partnering for another season with the MTA Arts & Design's Music Under New York (MTA MUSIC), and thanks to sponsorship support from TD Bank, the Lincoln Square BID is bringing free entertainment to the neighborhood with the wildly popular annual Lunchtime Concert Series. Now in its 12th year, the concerts take place every Wednesday, rain or shine, beginning July 3 through August 28, from noon until 2:00pm in Richard Tucker Park at Broadway and 66th Street. The series will feature a wide range of music genres, from global funk to jazz to alternative rock!
State Senator Jose Serrano and Assembly Member Linda Rosenthal will be hosting a summer West Side Shred Day event on Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. During the event, Upper West Siders can bring personal documents to Assemblymember Linda Rosenthal's office at 230 West 72nd Street to shred the papers for free at a shredding truck on-site. There is a limit of three boxes per household. If you have any questions, contact (212) 873-6368 or email email@example.com.
