AirNow is a tool that can provide information and perspective, as well as serve useful for planning outdoor activities, especially if one has health concerns such as asthma or a heart condition. This tool is free and provides local, state, national, and world views regarding air quality information. AirNow’s Fire and Smoke map, a collaborative project with the US Forest Service, can provide detailed, up-to-date information that can be critical to users experiencing smoke events.
