Printing with Plastisol Ink
This seminar will review the basics and techniques on the role inks play in the screenprinting process. Topics that will be discussed include choosing mesh, squeegee and proper set up to achieve the best designs; printing multiple colors wet on wet using plastisol inks; getting high opacity when printing colors on dark garments; achieving the best white underlay when printing on 50/50 blends; flash cure and final ink curing specifics; common problems that occur in most screenprinting shops; tips and tricks for achieving soft and matte finish prints using plastisol.

Whether you are just getting into the screen printing business or looking to refresh your screen making skills , this course is for you. The entire screen printing process starts in the screenroom and without a quality screen it is impossible to produce a quality finished product. This course will focus on all aspects of making a repeatable consistent high quality screen and will discuss some of the common problems people run into. Seminar will include a demonstration of capillary film application.
