Indoor Worship continues in the comfort and beauty at the Wesley UMC Bloomington Sanctuary. Please join Pastor Sara L. Isbell as she leads our July 9th sermon along with Associate Pastor Tanya Evans in our series, "Free to Be You and Me". This week we will explore the importance of how we live by the Spirit, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh. Call to Action for Local Organizations

The weekend of June 25-27 was an unusual and exceptionally hard one in the Bloomington / Normal area. Hopefully you did not experience any of the water problems that occurred around the city.
Unfortunately, that was not the case at West Bloomington Revitalization and Home Sweet Home Ministries. They incurred some serious problems and NEED OUR HELP.
West Bloomington Revitalization had massive flooding and lost a tragic amount of supplies, especially from their Tool Library.
Home Sweet Home Ministries also incurred devastating flood damage - losing all of their refrigeration and other equipment, along with other significant damage.
Please provide whatever financial aid you can to help these organizations so they can continue to help others in our community.
Tim Zimmerman and the King's Brass

July Just One Collection items

With summer in full swing, we'll be keeping surfaces clean for our friends and families with anti-bacterial products! We all know how difficult it can be to find some of these items, so stock up and give the gift of a clean and healthy community this month!

The Just One Bin will be in the hallway across from the Library in the Church.
We are so grateful for the response we are receiving in our call to action for team volunteers!
Wesley UMC Bloomington is in the process of organizing many volunteer opportunities and we still need your help! We need you to click on the image above and let us know how your talents, skills, experience, and knowledge can be utilized for the most important purpose of all; to give back to our community. Do you bike-ride? GREAT! How about being very organized? PERFECT! Some people just like to give a little time. WONDERFUL! Others are interested in setting aside an hour every week to assist in a variety of activities just to make Wesley operate smoother. No matter what your skills or time commitments are, we have a place for you to meet up with like minded people with similar interests as yours.

As healthcare facilities are beginning to allow area clergy to visit patients again, please remember to notify the Church office or a pastor when you or a loved one are admitted to a local hospital. Hospitals are not currently allowing churches to inquire about their congregants' inpatient status or room number. We will not know if you have been admitted to the hospital unless you give us a call.
