THE REASON SERIES

The Reason Series:   What Science Says About God

This program was designed and approved as a supplemental curriculum to the Bishop's curricular framework for the first semester of the freshman year (in the topic area of faith and reason). It can be completed in five to seven class days, and provides vital information to students who may believe that science and faith are irreconcilable or are experiencing early skepticism about their faith.

The Magis Center produces educational materials designed to refute contemporary "secular myths" such as, "science has proven God does not exist."  They aligned with the USCCB-Curriculum Framework and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.  To help teacher/facilitators better use The Reason Series (TRS) we offer: 1) Power Point Presentations (in PDF format), and 2) a Teacher's Resource Manual (TRM) with: detailed lesson plans, prayers, handouts, assessments, additional activities, video clips, and more, all which can be used in a variety of setting and time frames.

MAGIS WOMEN

Magis Women presented their first retreat as a ministry of The Magis Center this past July 21st - July 23rd, in Tempe, AZ. "Satisfying Our Restless Hearts" is based on Fr. Spitzer's book,
Finding True Happiness. We had 121 brave women join us.
The Lord was clearly present; that was palpable, everyone felt His encouragement and blessings.
We look forward to presenting our next retreat. Hope you can join us!

Robert J. Spitzer's award winning book
New Proofs for the Existence of God
examines the considerable evidence for God and creation that has come to light from physics and philosophy during the last forty years.  An expert in diverse areas, including theology, physics, metaphysics, and ethics, Spitzer offers in this text the most contemporary, complete, and integrated approach to rational theism currently available.
