  • Wednesday, May 1, 2019 - HUBZone - Let's get started!
This is a presentation and in-depth works session on the Federal HUBZone certification for Somerset County businesses. This certification gives businesses a “leg-up” in government contracting and even subcontracting. Seating is very limited and registration closes Monday, April 29, 2019. Learn more and register here .

Students Making Plans for the Future

On April 11th, over 400 high school students from 11 Somerset County high schools attended the Somerset County College and Technical Fair.

Students had the opportunity to discuss education and career options with representatives from 59 colleges, technical schools, the military and skilled trade organizations. The fair also included a panel of employers who provided the students with insight on careers within their respective industries as well as information on the importance of critical workplace behaviors. Many thanks to the employers who participated on the panel:

The fair was hosted by Somerset County Chamber of Commerce Education Committee and the Somerset County Foundation.
Register for the Cambria County Job Fair by April 18th

There is still time to register for the 2019 Cambria County Job Fair! All registrations will be $120.

The Cambria County Job Fair will be held on Tuesday, May 7th from 1 PM - 5 PM at the Frank J. Pasquerilla Conference Center in downtown Johnstown.
