The interesting and critical intersection between ROI and culture.

Return on investment (ROI) and safety are often viewed in isolation from the rest of an organization, but for safety to positively impact culture, it needs to be incorporated throughout all levels of an organization. Questions such as, “How much have we spent on safety equipment, claims, safety personnel, technology and certifications?” are often asked alongside the competing question of, “Did we spend less than last year?” as a measure of success.

Although ROI is important as it relates to safety, there are challenges with the concept, starting with being disconnected to actual risk levels in the organization. This in turn can misinform future budget and resource discussions as well as serve as an unintended cultural barrier between a workforce that knows the most about work performance and organizational leadership with the resources and authority to enable safer work to happen.

Join us for a compelling discussion of a better approach to the ROI and safety discussion. We’ll aim to elevate and connect organizational thinking around the business necessity to wisely resource and enable the workforce for safe work. This informed approach will enable cultural indicators and organizational learning from the workers’ insights.

The webinar will cover:

  • The importance and challenges of the ROI and safety discussion
  • The connection between ROI and culture

  • Case studies and examples
  • Takeaways and discussion points for your organization

Join us for an encouraging and informative discussion sure to inspire and inform safety leaders. Whether you’re in human resources, facilities, finance or risk/safety management, we trust this session will serve you.
