Mo scored 2300/ 2400 on his SAT, with a perfect 800/800 in writing and a perfect 800/800 in Math. Mo received a composite 33/36 on his ACT. He scored a 692 on the Specialized High School Entrance Exam, the top 1% score in New York City, qualifying for Stuyvesant, but decided to stay at Hunter High School. Mo took six AP courses throughout high school. He received a 4/5 and 5/5 on all of his AP exams and took college-level Organic Chemistry while a junior at Hunter.
While in high school, Mo interned at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, conducting clinical research that is now part of 3 published articles.
Mo attended New York University’s College of Arts and Sciences for his undergraduate degree. He received a full merit-based scholarship. At NYU, he double majored in Global Public Health and Biochemistry with a chemistry minor while being part of the Presidential Honors Scholars. After graduation, he worked as a researcher at Columbia University’s Timothy C. Wang Lab. He worked with researchers in studying gastro-esophageal cancer remedies in mice regarding the IL-1beta gene. At the same time, he rose in the ranks at CityMD. He began as a scribe documenting and seeing patients with providers before becoming a scribe supervisor and trainer for CityMD’s corporate office. In those two years, he sat for the LSAT, GMAT, GRE, and MCAT, scoring a 172/180, a 760/800, a perfect score, and a 515/528 (92nd percentile) on those exams, respectively.

Mo attended business school in the fall of 2018 at NYU Stern, where he was given a full scholarship. While taking on the MBA program, Mo has been employed as an analyst at a Health Care Consulting firm. He finished his two-year MBA degree program in a year and a half, graduating a semester early in 2019.

At Kweller Prep, Mo has taught groups of students in preparation for the Hunter College Entrance Exam, the SHSAT, the SAT consistently every semester since he started college. Mo has developed over one dozen mock exams for Kweller Prep’s SHSAT and Hunter workbooks, also sold on amazon. He has also trained other tutors, including his younger brother Farib, to become experts in teaching such tough materials to ambitious elementary and middle school students. He has also served as a private tutor for those tests and subjects in high school Math, Science, History, and English and as a college essay and application consultant.

Mo is fluent in Bengali and proficient in Spanish. Though Mo works full-time at a consulting firm, and completed college and graduate school, he still spends any extra time he has tutoring, which he finds extremely rewarding. He has known Frances Kweller for 15 years and has gone above and beyond to develop Kweller’s Hunter curriculum. When not at Kweller Prep, Mo enjoys playing basketball, writing, and exploring New York City.
