City Council approves Proposition 68 grant
application and budget amendment
In a unanimous vote, the City Council approved the expenditure of $28,750 from Development Impact Fees to cover the cost of outreach and the grant application process for Smith Park and Smith Park Pool for grant funding from Proposition 68.

Free concert at the Playhouse Plaza on July 18
The Jennifer Keith Sextet will be performing timeless pop, jazz and standards from the 1930s through the 1950s tomorrow, July 18, at 7:00 p.m. in front of the Mission Playhouse.

Founded in 2006 by vocalist Jennifer Keith and acclaimed tenor saxophonist Mando Dorame, the Jennifer Keith Sextet has performed at BB King’s Blues Club in New York, the Wynn in Las Vegas, the Cosmopolitan and at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
SGVHS to hold fundraiser July 25
Join the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society at PizzaRev located at 3455 East Foothill Boulevard in Pasadena on July 25 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and help support your local animals!
