La Vista voters will face two important issues this fall
Our community has set an unmatched pace in providing services and amenities to our residents. The City Council has established a positive climate for economic growth in
La Vista, and the fruits of those efforts can be seen in the progress being made on marquee projects.

The two ballot questions before
La Vista voters will be the continuation of the City’s half-cent sales tax and replacement of the restaurant tax.

We encourage residents to learn about these ballot issues. Information is available at CityofLaVista.org/Referendums.
Street improvements completed in Giles Corner
We recently completed a street improvement project in La Vista using a paving method called UBAS (Ultra-thin Bonded Asphalt Surface). This modern process helps the pavement last longer. Watch the video to learn more about the preventative maintenance process that will be used in other upcoming street improvement projects around the City.
