Fireworks Regulations and Safety Tips

The City of Bothell Fire and Emergency Management System encourages citizens to celebrate safely by attending one of the many public fireworks displays in the area instead of lighting personal fireworks. The City of Bothell allows the sale and discharge of state-approved Class C fireworks within certain dates. Sales are permitted July 1 through July 4. Discharge of fireworks is allowed from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on July 4 only. More information about fireworks regulations is available.

  • Soak used fireworks in water overnight before putting in the trash.
  • When lighting fireworks, always keep water close, and stay at least 25 feet from houses, vehicles, dry vegetation and flammable materials
