Librarian's Corner

Bookmark Deadline

Don't forget that the deadline to submit your design for this year's bookmark contest is Today! You can drop off your submission at the Library anytime before 1pm today. Winners will be announced during Old Home Week!

A Warm Welcome

The Library is pleased to announce that Christian Essex has been hired as our new Youth Programming Coordinator. He'll be learning his way around during Summer Reading--talk about jumping in head first!--and will be taking over the coordination of all youth programming this Fall. Say hi if you see him around the Library!

Power of the Penny

Canada may have gotten rid of their penny, but ours still has some value! If you have pennies lying around you’d like to get rid of, please consider donating them to the jar on the front desk! At the end of Summer Reading, we’ll total up just how much power the penny has to raise money for the Library!

US pennies only, please. Higher denominations should be put in the pig.
