Spring hasn’t quite sprung just yet, but my mind’s been in summer mode for a few weeks now. Planning for Summer Reading is already well underway, and between bouts of summer preparations, I’m still trying to keep an eye on the near future, and what might be going on between now and then.

Take a Guess...

There's still time to guess how many pieces of candy are in the jar at the Circulation Desk. The closest guess for Kids & Preschoolers, and Adults & Teens, will win a jar--with all the candy in it!

Constituent Services

On Wednesday, March 22nd, from 10-11am, a member of Congressman Chris Pappas's staff will be at the LIbrary and available to answer questions and provide information about federal resources and programs. Congressman Pappas's office can help constituents with federal issues including Social Security, VA benefits, passports, IRS, and more.

Matinée Café

The Matinée Café is a monthly movie showing for adults on one Saturday every month! Before and after each showing, there'll be a chance to have some light refreshment and chat, or talk about the movie.


Mark your calendars--the next Matinée Café will be held on Saturday, March 25th. The café will open at 2pm, and the movie will begin at 2:30. This month's movie is Voodoo MacBeth (2021, unrated).

Crafting with Amanda

Looking to spruce up your spring décor? Join Amanda on Saturday, April 1st from 10:30am-12:30pm for some fun crafts to usher in the spring. Registration is required: email Amanda at [email protected] if you're interested!

Cribbage/Yarn Arts Power Hours

Wednesdays, 2-4pm

Yarn Arts. Drop in at the Library for our Yarn Arts Group. Bring your latest knitting/crocheting project and hone your craft with others. If you're a beginner, come to watch others work and learn. Heck, even macramé would be okay!


Cribbage. Drop in at the Library for Cribbage! Boards and cards provided, but feel free to bring your own as well. Stop by and play the classic game with other folks. New players are always welcome to learn the ins and outs of the game.
