Holiday Closure

The Library will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd, in observance of Thanksgiving. The book drop & sale in the front vestibule are available 24/7 for your convenience.

Matinée Café

The Matinée Café is a monthly movie showing for adults on one Saturday every month! Before and after each showing, there'll be a chance to have some light refreshment and chat, or talk about the movie.


Mark your calendars--the next Matinée Café will be held on Saturday, November 18th. The café will open at 2pm, and the movie will begin at 2:30. This month's movie is The Miracle Club (2023, PG-13).

Freedom Rings In the Holidays

As part of Freedom Rings In the Holidays, come join Amanda at the Library on Saturday, November 18th from 10:30am-12:30pm to create your own holiday cards! We'll have materials on-hand for you to create that special card for the holiday season. For more information, email Amanda at asst@freedompubliclibrary.org.

Giving Tree

From November 14 - December 16, we'll be partnering with Starting Point to host a giving tree at the Library. Stop in to see what items are being sought; take an ornament with an item, and bring that item in to place under the tree.

Mah Jongg

Mah jongg is back at the Library! Stop in on Mondays and Fridays from 1:30-4:30 to play.

Cribbage

Drop in at the Library on Wednesdays from 2-4pm for Cribbage! Stop by and play the classic game with other folks. New players are always welcome to learn the ins and outs of the game.

Crochet with Amanda

Interested in learning how to crochet? Have a project you want to make and don’t know how to start? Join Amanda at the Library on Thursdays at 3pm to learn how. Please bring your own crochet hooks. Please email Amanda at asst@freedompubliclibrary.org if you are interested or have any questions.
