Librarian's Corner

One part of the Library that doesn’t get the attention it deserves is the Young Adult section. Tucked into a corner next to the adult fiction, it’s often ignored by the less-young adults. There seems to be this idea that once you age out of a particular bracket, that literature is suddenly off-limits to you, that it no longer has anything to offer. I assure you that’s not the case.

Matinée Café

The Matinée Café is a monthly movie showing for adults on one Saturday every month! Before and after each showing, there'll be a chance to have some light refreshment and chat, or talk about the movie.

Mark your calendars--the next Matinée Café will be held on Saturday,September 16th. The café will open at 2pm, and the movie will begin at 2:30. This month's movie is Beautiful Beings (2022, NR).
