Hunterdon-Somerset Drive Thru Site Successfully Provides Hundreds of Residents With COVID-19 Tests
Hundreds of Hunterdon and Somerset County residents have registered for COVID-19 testing at the drive through site established jointly by the two counties, at the Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC).

Hunterdon Freeholder Board Director Shaun C. Van Doren issued a statement during the site opening on April 16 th , saying, “Providing this test site is a vital step for our residents. 

Health professionals continue to stress that, in addition to social distancing practices, accurate detection and follow up contact tracing is the best chance to reduce the spread of the virus, which in turn will begin the process for all of us to get back to normal."

All donations are set up by appointment only and are adhering to strict social distancing guidelines.

 Those with mild symptoms of the virus may not know they have it and can unwittingly spread it to others. The virus can lead to very serious complications, such as pneumonia, which can be fatal.

The state income tax filing deadline and the corporation business tax filing deadline will be extended from April 15th to July 15th.

Veterans don’t forget you qualify for a $6000 state income tax exemption for 2019 taxes.
The Hunterdon County Board of Elections is requesting that all forms be sent through USPS for mail delivery.



The Board of Elections Office will continue to operate to answer public phone calls and process mail.
