HIGHLIGHTS

Those Terrific Teens

Kudos to the sixty teens and tweens from New Rochelle middle and high schools who came together yesterday for a morning of service at HOPE Community Services. Our Teen Librarian, Rio Aucena, was on there to lend a hand.

Mayor Yadira Ramos-Herbert stopped by to thank everyone for coming out on a chilly winter day, during the school break, to serve the community. Volunteers made sandwiches, packed cookies, designed colorful placemats, and distributed food at the pantry. Volunteers later received a behind-the-scenes tour of the facilities, learned about HOPE's mission, and the value of community service.

Loving Your Love Letters!

So many heartwarming notes have been coming in this month as we celebrate Library Lover's Month at NRPL. Thank you so much for the love. We feel it.

You can still stop by one of our reference desks and write us a love letter! We'll be putting your notes on display in the lobby, and on our social media. Keep them coming!

The label played an important role in the racial integration of popular music achieving crossover success.
