Dear Chad,

We are happy to formally announce some important enhancements available on our commercial package product. These changes were implemented as a direct result from your feedback and your Fremont Agency Advisory Council suggestions. We are introducing two new Manufacturing Enhancement Endorsements that are now available to quote 04/01/2022 and beyond.

Before this product release, industrial processing/manufacturing occupancies could only be offered our general property enhancement I or II (CPFM02 or CPFM04). Our new Preferred Manufacturing Property Enhancement endorsement (CP FM 43) is tailored to provide a strong coverage offering for the small to medium metal goods manufacturing classes.

Additionally, to support a more robust offering to manufacturers, we are introducing a Manufacturers Errors and Omissions-E&O (CG FM 44), that your agency council suggested as well. To round out our offering, we have also lowered rates on 58 GL classes for the manufacturing operations we seek, as well as adjusted many other classes that needed some market rate relief.

Additional product overview below:

Our Property Manufacturing Enhancement Endorsement, form (CP FM 43), includes increased Business Income and Extra Expense coverage and Business Income from Dependent Properties at a limit of $250,000 for each. It also includes $100,000 in blanket Crime Coverage (including ERISA). As you would expect, we have also added manufacturing specific coverages such as: Customers’ Patterns, Dies, Molds and Forms coverage at $50,000, Manufacturers Consequential Loss Assumption and Manufacturers Expediting Expenses, both with a limit of 100,000 each. Finally, we included Manufactures selling Price coverage within the Form as well.

Please note, this form includes all of the same coverages as our updated Property II enhancement endorsement (CP FM 04 01/22), (along with the above listed manufacturing specific coverages) so current policyholders who are eligible and choose to upgrade to CP FM 43, should be adequately covered accordingly.

For more information, please review the new manufacturing enhancement forms on our Fremont Agent Portal, (in the What’s New - MI section) to assist you in understanding the full product offerings. Please follow up with your assigned TSM or Senior Commercial Underwriter with questions and renewal or new business opportunities.
