Assessment Notices In The Mail
Fremont Residents Can Only Appeal  Assesment  Until July 31, 2017
Fremont home and landowners will receive their property assessment notices in the next few days in the mail.  If you feel your assessment is factually incorrect, over valued or not uniform, please contact your Fremont assessors office at 847 223-2846. You are also able to come into their office at 22385 Route 60, Mundelein. You will need to provide  evidence to show the assessors office, which can include recent sales off the lake county website that are close in proximity and similar to your home.  Three is sufficient.  If you have an appraisal, they would like it to be dated as of January 1, 2017 for assessment purposes. They do look at refinance appraisals, however the scope of the appraisal is for a different purpose. If you have questions please call them.   Their office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am til 3:30 pm.
The filing deadline for appealing your assessment is July 31, 2017.
