New Iberia Vintage Car Blues
NEW IBERIA, La. --- Are you a car enthusiast? Or do you speak French?

The public is invited to the New Iberia Vintage Car Blues rally on Wednesday, March 18 from 4-6 p.m. at the old Gulf Station (200 W. Main St.), to see old cars and visit with a group of car enthusiasts from Lyon, France.

The French “Club Les 3 A” (the 3 A’s Club: Amateurs of Ancient Automobiles) was created in Lyon, France, in 1956 to provide a venue where people interested in the preservation of old cars could share their passion.

Each November, the club hosts “Epoqu’Auto”, a vintage car show that attracts some 70,000 visitors over four days. The French club hopes to establish a friendly partnership with the Iberia Parish vintage car enthusiasts.

For more information about this event, please contact Philippe Gustin at (337) 296-7770 and by email, or Mayor Freddie DeCourt
(337) 369-2300 and by email. For information about the French club, visit their website.
