On August 19, 2024, the Frenship ISD Board of Trustees approved adding another Staff Professional Development Day/Student Holiday to the 2024-2025 district calendar. November 5, 2024, is now a PD Day and Student Holiday which means staff will do professional development while students have the day off.

Through community support and district collaboration, Frenship ISD continually ensures that no student goes without food over the weekend through the Tiger Bites program.

This week our FFA students got together to participate in the AG Olympics during their monthly meeting. The students had a blast playing different games and learning more about their other FFA chapter members.

Do you have an outstanding Frenship Teacher? Nominate them for the Mrs. Baird's Teachers on the Rise award! Every month during the school year, three teachers across the Lubbock area will be recognized. Each winning teacher will receive a $100 gift card from United Supermarkets and a meal for two at The Texas Tech Club. Each student who nominates a winning teacher will also win a $50 American Express gift card from Mrs. Baird’s.

Voters in Frenship ISD will see three propositions on November 5 including a Voter Approved Tax Ratification Election (VATRE) and two Bond propositions. The Frenship Foundation’s 2024 Teacher Grant Campaign is currently underway. Whether it’s $5 or $5,000, every dollar counts and helps impact teachers and students across Frenship. If you’d like to help make a difference in a classroom and enhance education at our campuses, donations can be made online.

This past weekend, the Frenship Tigers were named Team Champions for Division 1 at the Crane XC Invitational. All of the Frenship teams took down the competition bringing home several impressive medals.

Starting at 7:00 p.m. the Frenship Tigers will take on the Wichita Falls Memorial Mavericks at Peoples Bank Stadium. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate.
