Frenship ISD Announces Head Football Coach and Head Band Director for Frenship Memorial High School

Frenship ISD is excited to announce the hiring of two head positions at Frenship Memorial High School pending school board approval on January 22. Jason Richards has been selected as the head football coach and boys athletic coordinator while Michelle Lessing will take on the role as head band director for Frenship Memorial High School.

January Mental Health Minute: Embracing Optimism

This month's theme for Mental Health Minute is Optimism. As a component of the 2021 Strategic Plan Initiative, the goal of the Mental Health Minute is to spread awareness of mental health across Frenship ISD.

Upland Heights Alphabet Fashion Show

This morning pre-k students at Upland Heights hosted an Alphabet Fashion Show. Students put their creativity on display and dressed up as various things representing letters of the alphabet. Check out the cute photos!

Frenship High School Students Selected as Texas All-State Musicians

Last weekend, several Frenship Fine Arts students auditioned for various Texas All-State Music Ensembles. Four band students and four choir students earned coveted spots in these prestigious groups and will showcase their skills at the TMEA Clinic/Convention this February.

Frenship Hosts CTE Dual Credit Signing for Media Students

Fifty-four Frenship students took a significant step toward advancing their media education by participating in the first ever CTE Dual Credit Signing Day. These students celebrated their commitment to earning college credit through South Plains College, marking an exciting milestone in their educational journeys.

Dual Credit Information Meetings

There will be a Dual Credit Information Meetings for current 9th-11th graders on Tuesday, January 21, from 7:00-7:30 p.m. in the FHS Performing Arts Center. This meeting is for students and their parents who are interested in taking dual credit classes for the first time for the 2025-2026 school year. These meetings will be for students attending Frenship High School or Frenship Memorial High School next year. If you attended the January 13 meeting, you do not need to attend this one.

8th Grade Parent Meetings

There will be an 8th Grade Parent Meeting

Tuesday, January 21, from 6:00-6:30 p.m. in the FHS Performing Arts Center.

This meeting is for all current 8th graders and their parents to learn about high school scheduling, different courses offered in 9th grade, 4-year plans, and what is needed to start preparing for high school. If you attended the January 13 meeting, you do not need to attend this one.
