OUR NEW MIAMI GARDENS FACILITY
IS NOW OPEN

On Monday, February 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., we welcomed Mayor Carlos Gimenez, along with Miami Gardens Mayor Oliver Gilbert, County Commissioner Barbara Jordan, and a host of other community leaders and county officials to the our new Intergenerational Center in Miami Gardens, FL. The occasion was commemorated with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony, and a Black History Month presentation from the center's early childcare participants.

"The YWCA has been part of the Miami-Dade county community for 98 years, and this facility will further enhance [their] mission to empower women and youth, and improve the quality of life for the residents of this area," said Mayor Gimenez during the event.
