It has been 10 years this week since we lost  Dun Gifford , Oldways Founder and President for its first 20 years.

Today, the Mediterranean Diet tops the list of Best Diets year after year, but in 1993, it was a radical approach. Learn how Dun and Oldways helped bring this way of eating to Americans.
This fresh-tasting soup uses fava beans, a beloved Mediterranean ingredient that is in season during spring. If you can't find fresh fava beans, look for frozen in the grocery store. A crunchy crouton topping is a delicious addition!

Olive oil, lemon juice, and a sprinkle of salt are all you need to make delicious scallops. The key to nicely browned scallops is hot oil in the pan, and plenty of room to prevent overcrowding.
