ONE Neighborhood Builders was joined by the Rhode Island Foundation and the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health & Human Services in welcoming Blue Meridian Partners to Central Providence this week!


Blue Meridian Partners’ Cecilia Gutierez, Frances Liu, and Vrunda Vaghela joined in discussion about health equity and economic mobility in Central Providence and the community’s vision for the future.

First Fresh Fridays Session Focuses On Sheridan Small Homes

More than two dozen people attended ONE|NB's first Fresh Fridays community development discussion, which focused on Sheridan Small Homes on May 20.


Fresh Fridays are virtual gatherings from 8:45-9:30 a.m. on the third Friday of the month. Practitioners, community members, topic experts, and the ONE|NB team will explore a new community development topic each session.

Before-school program thrives

at Kizirian Elementary in Providence

Principal Daniel Smith of Harry Kizirian Elementary School explains how the "Morning Stars" Before-School Program aims to address chronic absenteeism, improve school grades, and encourage students' social and emotional growth.


The Before-School Program was made possible through grant funding to Federal Hill House from Central Providence Opportunities: A Health Equity Zone. (ONE|NB is the convener of CPO-HEZ).

We are pleased to share that we have partnered with a new property management firm for the apartments owned by ONE|NB. Beginning June 1st, Peabody Properties Inc. will be the first point of contact for maintenance issues and any other needs our tenants have related to the 453 apartments ONE|NB owns and manages. We have great confidence that Peabody Properties Inc. has the leadership, resources, and maintenance staff necessary to ensure that our apartments are maintained to our high standards.

For our tenants: Your safety & wellness are top priority for us: 

  •  We host free vaccination clinics frequently in Providence. Everyone 5 & older is advised to get COVID-19 vaccines and boosters. Call Wendy for clinic dates and locations.


  • If there is a disturbance around your property, you may make an anonymous call to the Providence Police: (401) 272-1111.


  • There is no application fee to apply for an apartment at ONE Neighborhood Builders. If you, or anyone you know, has been told that they can pay a fee in order to obtain an apartment more quickly, please report this immediately to Wendy Sanchez. Collecting a payment in exchange for offering an apartment is a bribe and is illegal under state law. In order to protect our community, ONE Neighborhood Builders will immediately share any reports it receives of this nature with the Rhode Island State Police. Please notify Wendy Sanchez or Executive Director Jennifer Hawkins (401-351-8719 x101) immediately if this type of illegal proposal has been made to you or anyone you know.
