NEW IBERIA, La. – Come out on Saturday, March 10, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Teche Ridge Central Park for a Spring farmers and artisans market with a community atmosphere and learn why Teche Ridge is Iberia Parish's most exciting new and only Traditional Neighborhood Development.
Visit the gorgeous showcase home and other newly constructed homes for sale. Stroll through the farmers market, enjoy the food truck, arts and crafts vendors, live music and more. This event usually attracts an average of 50 vendors. An updated list of vendors is available on the
Teche Ridge Facebook page. This event is sponsored by Lawnscapes, Quality Plus Insurance, Bayou Paints, LLC and Teche Ridge Development, LLC.
Teche Ridge sits right outside the southeastern edge of the city of New Iberia. It is the first traditional neighborhood development of its kind in Iberia Parish designed by the same architects that did River Ranch in Lafayette and Sugar Mill Pond in Youngsville.
All of these neighborhoods are designed with walkability in mind. Community parks, restaurants, retail shops, tree-lined sidewalks and events like this farmers market are an essential part of creating an enhanced quality of living in the neighborhood. The first home was completed and sold in the summer of 2016. There are plenty of purchasing options to choose from.
The showcase home is open seven days a week, Monday to Saturday by appoitnment and Sundays from 1 - 4 p.m.
