Business, Labour & Community: Planning for Prosperity!

Hire Learning Survey 2015 and 2016!

Workforce Planning Hamilton will be asking local employers to complete the Hire Learning Survey in January 2016.

Last year's survey results proved to be an invaluable resource for the community to aid our understanding of current and future hiring needs, and employers' labour market challenges.

We look forward to learning more from our local employers in the future via this important survey.

InterAct Summit 2015: A Community and Academic Summit on Internationalization

InterAct 2015 takes place at Mohawk College October 29-30/15 and is a thought leadership Summit on internationalization. The event seeks to build a shared ethos in creating welcoming communities, and explore practices that support meaningful experiences for newcomers, and diverse student populations within our communities.

Through the exploration of Community and Academic streams, delegates from community service organizations, academic institutions, government, and the private sector will discover the increasing importance of global competencies, and the inherent opportunities that exist when ecosystems are developed from a common vision.

The InterAct Summit website with complete programme, registration, and hotel information will launch in early August 2015.
