Thank you for participating in the Orientation Meeting on Sunday and for the positive feedback! We enjoyed meeting you and look forward to the year. Those of you who could not make it, please email us so that we can make arrangements to give you the folder with the important handouts for the year.
To recap on the start of your service project for the Family-to-Family Gift Giving for St. Francis-St. Rose of Lima School:
- Bake Sale on October 19 and 20 will raise funds so that you will be able to shop for the families in need.
- A Sign-Up Genius was created for you to select the best day, time, and place for your schedule. Click here to access it.
- All students will participate in the Bake Sale. It is part of your community service hours and part of your class time.
October 6 will be the first class. It starts at 6:00 pm and will be in the Church Hall. You will spend some time getting to know your catechist and the people in your group. We will then jump into Bake Sale planning mode with advertisements (posters, Mass announcements, bulletin announcements, local paper press release) as well as spiritual gifts for the gift recipients at St. Francis-St. Rose of Lima School. Think about your talents and what area you'd like to help with.
We look forward to seeing you all on the 6th. If ever you cannot attend a class, please let us or your catechists know so we can make arrangements for make-up assignments.
