Dear Rabbi Beals, Rev. Estevez, Rev. Finkelstein, Rev. Horn, Fr. Lewis, Mr. Savage, and Dr. Townsend,

We're thrilled that you each are joining us as part of our roster of area faith leaders who will be rotating into the role of "Friar Francis" during the run of Much Ado About Nothing - each playing the role as "you," with character name change and all!

We're also thrilled that members of your congregations have expressed interest in attending and supporting your performance.

What follows is "Frequently Asked Questions" information that you can share with your congregants.

Members of your congregations are eligible for the $16 group rate ticket price on nights of your performance. The easiest way to purchase these tickets is to buy them at the park on the night of the performance. Your congregants can simply tell the box office attendant that they are with "Rabbi Beals" or "Rev. Horn" or "Dr. Townsend", etc., and they can purchase the group rate ticket via cash, credit, or check.

In a new development, if your congregants would like to buy tickets ahead of time, they may do so at our website HERE . Congregants should choose "Adult" ticket type and enter the discount code "FAITH" on the purchase page. Tickets ordered through the website will have an additional $2.30 service fee.

Delaware Shakespeare's Summer Festival production of Much Ado About Nothing  will take place at Rockwood Park, located at 4651 Washington Street Extension, Wilmington, DE 19809. There is free parking on the grounds. More information on directions can be found HERE .

The grounds open 75 minutes before each performance for picnicking and pre-show entertainment. Our audiences are encouraged to bring their own food and drink onto the grounds, though we do have a concession stand selling light fare from Janssen's Market and other snacks.

There is a Shakespeare Orientation 45 minutes before the show, and a pre-show comedy sketch 25 minutes before the show.

Seating is on your own blanket, beach chair, or lawn chair. We seat patrons on a first-come, first-served basis in sections based on the height of the chair (blankets first, then beach chairs, then lawn chairs.) See the Del Shakes guide to Beach Chairs vs. Lawn Chairs at the end of the email.

Del Shakes continues performing in a light rain. If rains get heavier, we take a rain delay if it looks like the rain will pass. In case of severe storms or lightning in the area, the performance will be canceled. All audience members will be given a rain voucher to attend another performance. Unfortunately, faith leader performers cannot be rescheduled to other dates.
