Classes are a fun way to play with a new medium, deepen your skills, and connect with your community! QUESTIONS ABOUT CLASSES:
Why are there three prices? All classes are offered on a sliding scale, with a free option available to anyone that requests it. The middle price is the "true" cost of the class OffCenter needs to cover overhead, pay teachers, and provide class materials. If you are able to support at a higher level, paying the top price helps ensure we can offer a variety of classes and always keep free spaces open for anyone that needs!

How do I sign up? Drop by OffCenter during open hours, call us at 505.247.1172, or email [email protected]. Each class is limited to a small number of students, so if you're interested, sign up today!

What if I can't make one of the dates? Email, call or stop by to chat with us about the details of each class so we can figure out if it works with your schedule. And keep an eye out for more classes later in the year!
New Open Art Night Series
An important part of the power of Open Studio is that everyone is welcome! However, we also understand that there is beauty in creating spaces centered on specific communities and groups. And, we know our Open Studio hours don't work for everyone's schedules. In addition to our Saturday Kids' Open Studio and expanded Wednesday & Thursday Open Studio hours, we're excited to begin a monthly series of rotating Open Art Nights, focused on different community groups. This month we're hosting a QTPOC Open Art Night on August 19, for Queer and/or Transgender creatives of color. Watch for more details on future Open Art Nights, and email [email protected] with questions or suggestions.
Join us at OffCenter for QTPOC Open Art Night! Friday, August 19, 5-8 p.m.
This is intended as a sober, safer art-making space for people who identify as Queer and/or Transgender Black, Indigenous, Asian, Latiné, and Pacific Islanders. All skill levels are welcomed! Bring your own materials / works in progress, or bring nothing but your drive to create and use our supplies. Come with a creative spirit and a community mindset! We can’t wait to see what you make!
Help keep OffCenter running smoothly: share your time, money, or art supplies!
>Are you interested in being a volunteer? Yay! Find details here and email [email protected].
>Don't have time to volunteer? We'll put your financial donation to good use! Whether you can donate $5 or $5,000, your support is needed, appreciated, and impactful.
>Our studio is always happy to receive donations of art supplies and art-making tools and equipment! Drop by on Tuesdays between noon and 3 p.m. or check out our website here for more details!
