12-5-2025 Daily Inspiration.jpg

We pray that this newsletter and its contents that we share will help you on your daily journey with Christ, causing you to grow in the ways of the Lord.

The giftings of the fivefold ministry (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher) should have one purpose, and that is the teaching and equipping of the saints until we come into unity.

This is why we teach so that you can grow stronger in your faith until unity comes in the body of Christ. Take what you have learned and share it with others so that we can further the kingdom for Jesus Christ.

A DAY OF THANKSGIVING

___________________

Last week we celebrated Thanksgiving. For me, it is not just one day; it is every day that God gives me breath. I can never thank him enough. He is my life.

I thank God that He has given me you! And for all the other persons that have been a part of my life, regardless of whether they were supportive or critical. It all adds up to make a blessed and fruitful life.

As we move toward December 25, we reflect on God’s greatest love gift, Jesus, who through much pain and agony gave His life so that I might live eternally in glory.

There could be no greater Thanksgiving Day than when we ascend to glory.

LEAH PART 2 - TRICKERY

____________________

Jacob left his mother Rebekah and father Isaac to escape being killed by his twin brother Esau.  He was sent by his father to Padanaram, to his mother’s brother, Laban. Isaac did not want his sons to marry pagan women. He wanted the bloodline to be pure.

Jacob went to Padanaram, but Esau, fueled by his anger became rebellious and married the daughters of Ishmael, Abraham’s son of the flesh to spite his father for giving his brother the blessing. On the way to Laban’s country, Jacob came to a certain place and made pillows from stones to sleep. While asleep, he had a dream of a ladder reaching up into heaven and saw the angels of God going up and down the ladder.

The LORD stood above the ladder and spoke to Jacob in Genesis 29:13-15 saying, “ 13I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father [grandfather], and the God of Isaac [his father]: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed. 14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall the families of the earth be blessed. 15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep [protect] thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.”

Upon waking Jacob said, “Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.” [Genesis 29:16b]. He then made a vow to God to serve him if God would take care of him. [Genesis 29:20]

Jacob continued his journey and came into the land where Laban lived. Rachel, the youngest of Laban’s two daughters, was watering her father’s sheep. Jacob told her who he was, a near relative, the son of her father’s sister Rebekah, and he was taken to Laban’s home. Genesis 29:17 tells us about the two daughters. Leah, the oldest sister was tender eyed, and Rachel was beautiful and well favored.

Jacob loved Rachel and offered to serve Laban for seven years if he would allow him to marry her. Laban agreed, and Jacob worked for seven years to have Rachel as his wife. Laban had a wedding feast for the marriage, inviting all the men of the place to the marriage. It was the custom for all women to wear veils, and in the dark Jacob did not realize that Laban had tricked him. Laban brought his daughter Leah to Jacob for his wife instead of Rachel.

How horrible it must have been for Jacob to wake up the next morning and find Leah with him instead of Rachel. Tomorrow we will see how the deception impacted both Jacob and Leah, and Rachel.

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION

Every day gives each of us an opportunity to give praise to our God, or to mumble and grumble. Remember, praise is our secret weapon that defeats Satan. Israel spent years in the wilderness because of mumbling, grumbling, and listening to an evil report. We should learn from their rebellion and not be like them. This is the day which the LORD hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24b

Friday Thought For Today

Doubt and unbelief will destroy your faith. But if you believe the words of Jesus and act upon them, there is nothing you cannot accomplish. He is waiting for His church to BELIEVE His teachings and the words He spoke to His disciples.

“Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭21‬ ‭NIV‬‬

APOSTLE PAT MURRAY

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION

We know that in order to survive the storms of this life; We must be sure that we are securely Anchored in the Rock of Ages; Yes, Jesus Christ...The Master of the Wind and The Sea. It was in Psalms 18:6 where the great Psalmist David wrote these beautiful words to our Lord. Yes, it was here that David the young shepherd boy began to thank God for rescuing him from his enemies; And we know that was mainly old jealous Saul. “I called on the Lord in my distress. I cried out to my God for help. He heard my voice from His temple, and my cry for help reached His ears.” Now I pray that you’ll have a fabulously blessed day; But you just be sure and always remember to…Stay securely anchored in our Lord Jesus Christ for He is as close as the mention of His Name. So you just trust Him.

Fires!! HCC

When fires go through, as you walk through this life,

Do you give up, do you pray? Do you fight

Fire with fire? The fire of Christ Jesus?

Christ will win, each and every time.

He will guide you through the flames.

The flames of trials, death, and sadness,

And there too, in these flames, is sickness.

Give your worries to the Lord.

He is in control of all the fires.

That is what this life gives, many fires to get through.

Just be grateful you have a Savior,

One who died for you. Let his life consume you

And light your way. Be on fire with Jesus!
