BEWARE OF FALSE GIFTS

Have you noticed how clouds that might bring rain usually have a noticeable breeze spring up just before the rain comes? That breeze feels refreshing. But what if the rain never comes?
Proverbs 25:14 says, “Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain.”
Ephesians 4:8-12 tells of the five-fold ministry gifts Jesus has given the church (as Holy Spirit distributes to selected ones) for the perfecting (maturing, edification, building up, equipping) of the saints. One of these gifts is the office of the prophet.
The early church had prophets, but some of them were false prophets. Paul warned the church about them. They still exist today. Theirs is a false gift.
Often these false prophets give out good words of prosperity or blessing, or encouragement that people like to hear. If you study all of the scripture, you will see some good words given, but the true prophet will give God’s whole word, not just a part of it. They will also speak against sin. They will speak of judgment. They will give hard words, not just “fluff” words.
Beware of those today who only “prophesy” revival without repentance of sin, or other nice and good sounding words. These words are like the breeze before the rain. The rain (which edifies) never comes. You must measure them by the whole word of God, not just part of it.

TRIED IN THE FIRE

There isn’t one of us that hasn’t asked God when or why. Human nature wants to know things and wants to know them NOW! Trials come and tests come and we don’t understand why God allows them.
I don’t know anyone that enjoys trials or tests. As students, many of us would freeze up in the classroom when we knew test day was coming.
The book of James says we are to count it all joy when we are tested. All joy? No way! Yet, how can we know if we have learned something without a test. Many of us have learned the hard way and have had to take the test repeatedly.
Just when we think we have learned a lesson, bang - another test comes. Testing is not pleasant, but like gold, we must go through the testing fire to see if we are strong enough and pure enough to qualify for excellence. Most of us would like to be graded on a sliding scale, but that doesn’t work with God. He wants us to be the best of the best! Testing shows what we are made of. Steel has to be put into the fire to get rid of the impurities, or it will break under the load, and even a small horseshoe has to be put in the fire, so it can carry the load that it will be used for.
Don’t look at tests and trials as a bad thing. God allows them to come so that we will rely on His Strength. Christ in us is the hope of glory. The more of Jesus in us, the less apt we are to bend under the testing! We get our strength to endure tests only from God. We should be thankful that He doesn’t want us to be graded as a D– or F. He wants us to be an A+ all the way.
Thank Him for being there through the trials. He said He would never leave you or forsake you! When you come out of the testing fires, you will be stronger than ever.

PROPHETIC WORD
AS GIVEN TO HELEN SANDERS

Rise up! Rise up! For this is not the time to sit idly. This is your season to rise up and shine like never before. Gross darkness is soon going to cover the earth, and you must shine now like never before. I have set the stage for many lost souls to come to the light, but my people must rise up and go forth into places of darkness so my light will draw those in darkness to me. Do not let fear of what may happen to you for making a stand determine what you do. For in this hour there will be many that would call me Lord but have gone the way of the world. I would ask you; will you surrender your will to my will? Will you be the one that says, Here I am Lord, send me? There is a great divide at hand, even among those that call themselves Christians. Many will be betrayed by friends and family for making a stand, but there must be an enlightened army to make a stand regardless of the cost. Did I ever say the way would be easy? Did I ever say that there would be no cross to bear? This is the hour of great persecution, but at the same time, my remnant will shine for me like never before. Oh, that you could see the battle going on in the heavenlies. The enemy would like to sift you like he did Peter of old. Yet, there are those that will respond to the call, and will shine for me like never before. Lives are depending upon your obedience. Do not look at your circumstances to determine if you will go. As you step forward, I will open the waters for you to go forth. I will supply every need. I will be your shield and buckler, for this is the hour my children that you have prayed for, now it is up to you to make it happen. Do not hesitate to go forth. Do not think you are incapable of heeding the call. Be my army, my remnant that will rise up and go. Do not look back. Remember, I said those that are willing and obedient would eat the good of the land. Your obedience in the call will determine your future. Let not your heart be troubled at this call. For you are more than capable through the anointing upon you and through my Spirit to do what I have called you to do. Do not wait for others to go with you. Go, even if you go alone, so go forth my children and I will be with you.

No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION
On this another day that our gracious Father God has blessed us all to see; What will your answer be regarding that situation you’re facing? Will you PANIC or will you PRAY? In the troubled times we’re living in…Which will it be for you? Will you do as many around us are doing today and PANIC...OR will you by FAITH, begin to seek God...And PRAY for the answer? We can read in 2 Chronicles 14 of how King Asa was faced with that same question. Yes, God’s Word tells us how Asa and Judah’s Army of 300,000 men were attacked by this Ethiopian Million Man Army. Wow, now that’s a really big BUT GOD moment; And I’m sure some of you feel much the same way today. Yes, we’re still talking about when the BATTLE before us begins to look totally IMPOSSIBLE. In fact, there could be those of you who’re feeling as if NO real VICTORY is anywhere in sight. Oh, but just know that you are NOT alone; For we’ve all been there…And even at times the battle becomes more intense than one can bear. Now perhaps you’re one of those needing to experience a real BUT GOD moment. If so, then what will you do? Will you rely on what some human individual says is the normal thing to do…And PANIC? OR will you do as King Asa did and PRAY? However, regardless of what kind of battle you might be facing today; IF you will only determine in your heart that; You will NOT PANIC...But you WILL turn to GOD and PRAY. Yes, my friend PRAYER really does work IF you will simply work PRAYER; And besides PRAYER really is our ONLY trusted BRIDGE between PANIC and PEACE. So just TRUST God and know that HE is greater than anything you are now facing or ever will face; For GOD always comes to your rescue IF…By FAITH you will PRAY, BELIEVE and not PANIC.
