A BAPTISM OF POWER

Six days before the Mount of Transfiguration event, Jesus spoke to a crowd of people saying in Mark 9:1, “Verily (truly) I say unto you, that there (will) be some of them that stand here (with you), which shall not taste death, ‘til they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.”
Jesus had already preached that the Kingdom of God had arrived. It came through Him, His incarnation, and the soon coming death and resurrection. But what was this mention of power?
He predicted that power for the believers, followers, and participants of the Kingdom of heaven would be given a few days after His ascension back to heaven. They were told to go to Jerusalem and wait for it to take place. It would take place on Pentecost.
Jesus’ final words to about four hundred followers just before his ascension were spoken in Acts 1:8, “…ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.” Acts 2:4 fulfilled that promise where it said, “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues (languages they had never learned), as the (Holy) Spirit gave them utterance (the ability to speak those languages).”
This came upon them with a unique manifestation of “…tongues of fire…” (vs. 3) upon their heads. This is what we call “the baptism of the Holy Ghost.”
They had already received the indwelling of the Holy Ghost [salvation] when Jesus breathed on them in John 20:22. This was their first work of grace.
The second work of grace was given at Pentecost to give them the power to do all the works that Jesus had done as he had promised in John 14:12-14. This was a baptism of power which was given after being baptized into the body of Christ at salvation.
This baptism of power is still available to all believers who desire it and ask earnestly for it. (Acts 2:39.)

WHAT ABOUT ME?

So many times, we ask the question “What about me?" Perhaps someone gets a job that you needed desperately but didn’t get or someone receives a blessing of money that you needed more than them. Can we be thankful that God blessed them, or do we murmur that it isn’t fair – that we should have gotten it instead?
It is time the body of Christ gets the revelation that it is not about us, but about him.
We oftentimes become so “need minded” and not “seed minded.” Remember, we reap what we sow. If things are rough, think about the words you planted months ago. Did you speak words of life, or did your words speak curses?
Praise activates the blessings of God. If we aren’t thankful for what we do have, then why would God give us more? Start today thanking our wonderful Lord and Savior for what He has given us, and you will see things begin to change. Be blessed to be a blessing.

PROPHETIC WORD
AS GIVEN TO HELEN SANDERS

For I would say unto you, my child, do not be dismayed at the shaking that is going on around you and even in you. For this shaking is of me. My child have I not said that all that could be shaken will be shaken? And it shall increase exponentially. For it must happen to bring my creation to the foot of my throne in repentance. Yes, my child, I am allowing this shaking, and there will be much more. There will be shakings in the environment, in the weather, in the political realm, and more importantly, in the church. For there are many that would call me Lord, but they do not know me. For, if they knew me, they would hear my voice and follow me. Many are leading my people astray saying peace and safety when there will be no peace and safety other than that which is found in me.
Spend time alone with me. I am jealous for your time saith the Lord. I long for those that say they love me to just get quiet and sit at my feet, letting me touch them deep in their souls. Many are weary, for they have been in many heated battles, some of which were not for them to fight. It is time to withdraw from those things that bring you weariness and just sit at my feet. Let me show you what true love is my child. Let me wrap my arms around you and wipe your tears. Let me carry you through the deep waters, and through the fires that are coming. For I am with you through the chaos, and I am with you through the fire. But these things must come to bring purity to my bride, and a cleansing of the temple.
Oh, my child, the temples are full of vanity and pride, and they must go. The temples are full of deceit and wickedness, and they must be removed. So, as you look at the shaking, know it is for a season to bring you and my body into a pure relationship that depends only upon me. There is no greater support than that is given from the rock that you can lean on, and that rock is me, saith the Lord. Turn your ears off of the chaos and focus on the assignment that I have given you. There are so many distractions that are trying to pull you away from me. Some look very innocent, but they are a trap to keep your eyes off me, saith the Lord. Do not walk in fear. Let the faith that you have developed rise up in you for such a time as this. I have put the scepter out and all you need to do is touch it and you will receive your heart’s desires. Do not focus on things but rather focus on the creator of all things.
There is coming an unravelling that will bring down the house of cards, which was not built on the solid rock. Oh, that my children would see with spiritual eyes and not the natural, for these things have to happen to fulfill my word that has been spoken in times past. There will be an unravelling, and there will be a curtain call for the time of playing is all over. This is the time to be more intent on hearing my voice than ever. Do not be caught off guard. Guard your heart my child, for the traps are being set, and the time of great trouble is at

They need a fresh Breath of "Divine Hope" from God, breathed in to their spirit man or woman. He's breathing on some of you and you will rise up in hope again, His "Divine Hope". When all other hope is gone, the "Divine Hope" from God will strengthen your legs to stand again and run the race He has put before you, to completion. Glory to God!!! Rise up, His wounded or fallen ones, into His "Divine Favor, Refreshing and Hope"!
