Delaware State Police 100th Anniversary

Friday morning, the 100th Anniversary ceremony for the Delaware State Police was held at Legislative Hall. Thank you to all former and current Troopers for your outstanding service to our state, and for the courageous work you do to keep us safe!

Delaware Solid Waste Authority's 2023 Collection Events

The Delaware Solid Waste Authority has announced their upcoming collection events for 2023, aimed at promoting safe and responsible disposal of household hazardous waste, electronic goods, and paper shredding.

These events offer an excellent opportunity for Delaware residents to get rid of unwanted items in a convenient and environmentally-friendly way. Household hazardous waste includes items such as old cleaning supplies, pesticides, and batteries that can be dangerous if not disposed of properly. Electronic goods, such as old computers, cell phones, and televisions can contain hazardous materials that require special handling. Paper shredding services ensure that sensitive documents are securely destroyed and recycled (limit 2 boxes per person).

Don't miss out on these upcoming events and do your part to keep Delaware clean and safe!
