Fremont County will be accepting applications for the ½ percent economic development tax through our citizen oversight committee named Fremont MOVE (Making Opportunity for a Viable Economy).
Any Fremont County business and/or organizations are eligible to apply. The goal of Fremont County’s ½ percent program is to reinvest the sales tax funds back into Fremont County’s economy, by providing funding programs to its businesses.
Final application selections will be made by the Fremont County Commission following recommendation and review by the five-member committee, consisting of one person from each County Commissioner District.
Applications will be taken from July 1, 2021 until July 31, 2021. Program objectives and application can be found on the Fremont County Website at www.fremontcountywy.gov and then following the appropriate links. You can also call the County Commissioners’ Office at 307-332-1130.
