June 10, 2021: Ten Reasons Our Badlands are Anything but Bad Part 1 – 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM via ZOOM with Bruce S. Thompson. Please register with this FORM and we will email you the ZOOM link.

June 12, 2021: Ten Reasons Our Badlands are Anything but Bad Part 2 – 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at King Fisher Trailhead. Bring a lunch! Please register with this FORM so we know how many to expect.
June 16, 2021: Kid’s Corner: Amazing Animals – Learn about the amazing athleticism of wild animals – 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM located at the NBSC. Pre-registration required. $3/student.

June 20, 2021: Botany Hike with Meredith Taylor and Lynn Stewart; Out East Fork Road – Meet at NBSC at 10:00 AM and caravan out to the East Fork for hike. If not meeting at the Center, meet at East Fork Road and Highway 26/287 at 10:15. Hike will be from approximately 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. This event is for current members of the National Bighorn Sheep Center or the Wyoming Native Plant Society. Not a member? Find out how to join here!

June 23, 2021: Kid’s Corner: Pneumonia in Bighorn Sheep – Learn about disease in wild Bighorns and why it is such a problem – 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM located at the NBSC. Pre-registration required. $3/student.

Governor Gordon Re-Launches Program to Stimulate
Job Creation in Energy Sector

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Governor Mark Gordon has announced that up to $12 million of remaining CARES Act funds will be used to fund the Energy Rebound Program, which is designed to get more people working in the energy industry. In 2020 the Energy Rebound Program provided badly needed capital for specified oil and gas projects, including drilled but uncompleted ventures, workovers, and reclamation of oil and gas wells through the plugging and abandonment process.

The Wyoming Council for Women (WCW) is seeking nominations for outstanding female entrepreneurs across the Cowboy State for recognition with the annual ‘Woman Entrepreneur Award.’
ServeWyoming promotes collaborative efforts among private, non-profit and governmental organizations that advance community service, volunteer programs and activities in each Wyoming community. We also collaborate with other Corporations for National & Community Service programs such as AmeriCorps*VISTA and Senior Corps. ServeWyoming gives every citizen an opportunity to help solve our biggest challenges in disaster, economic opportunity, education, environmental stewardship, healthy futures, veterans and military families.

As part of our expanding services within the CARES Act Recovery Program, the Wyoming SBDC Network has created a one-stop e-commerce site for the Wyoming entrepreneurs, called Shop Wyoming. This site allows customers to shop and check out from multiple Wyoming grown businesses at once and will give you an opportunity to reach new and existing customers on a local and national scale all within one unique, state-centric platform.

There is no cost to participate and we provide in-depth training on how it all works upon registration.

We have recently expanded our current advising team with supplemental experts in every field of entrepreneurship as part of the The Wyoming SBDC Network CARES Act Recovery Program. Armed with first-hand small business experience, our expanded team of advisors are pulled from all areas of interest and come from a wide variety of industry backgrounds. View their specialties on our resources page and contact your local Wyoming SBDC Network advisor to start creating your response and recovery plan today.
