Dear Lakeside Community,
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Measure A Parcel Tax Update- Election results for March 7 have been finalized. Measure A passed by a resounding 71.69%!!!! Thanks to the support of our tight knit mountain community, Lakeside will be able to continue to provide the excellent educational program that has defined us for the past 136 years! Many Thanks go to the Parcel Tax Campaign Committee; Lorrie Wernick, Matt Price, Desiree Hedberg, Cynthia Gingerich, Les Niles, Kenji Morita and Maritza Tamayo-Sarver for all their hard work, time, energy, and efforts on behalf of Measure A. A lot of the credit for the success of Measure A must go to the hard working volunteers from Measure J. Sara Anderson, Maria Daane, Mike Gull and Vicki Perkins along with Les Niles, Matt Price, Cynthia Gingerich and Maritza Tamayo-Sarver fought a difficult campaign and laid the foundation for a successful outcome for Measure A.
