Friday, October 14: NHCOA, ASPIRA & Farmworkers Justice
to Commemorate 9th Annual National Latino AIDS Awareness Day
The Act Against AIDS Leadership Initiative Latino partners will participate
in a Twitter conversation hosted by the CDC's TalkHIV from 12pm-1pm
In commemoration of the 9th Annual National Latino AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD), the National Hispanic Council on Aging (NHCOA)-- the leading national organization working to improve the lives of Hispanic older adults, their families, and caregivers-- will join ASPIRA and Farmworker Justice in a "twittersation" hosted by CDC's TalkHIV (@talkHIV).
During the hour-long online conversation, NHCOA, ASPIRA, and Farworker Justice will be discussing HIV as it relates to different segments of the Latino community. To follow the conversation, log-on to Twitter and follow the #talkNLAAD hashtag.
We'd like to have as much support as possible from partners, organizations, members, and constituents, so we encourage you to share this invite widely.
