Pelly's Mini Golf

Our middle school students recently visited Pelly's Mini Golf in Del Mar for a fun-filled afternoon of mini golf and socializing. The trip featured two engaging 18-hole courses: "Surfin' Safari" and "Ocean Adventure," each with its own set of obstacles and challenges. Students enjoyed practicing their putting skills and competing with friends in a relaxed atmosphere. For some students, this was their first time trying mini golf, and many commented on how much more fun it was than they expected! After playing, the group came together in the Auditorium at Winston for fun games led by Mr. Nunley. The favorite seemed to be Simon Says. 🙂

Dear Bulldogs,

As we continue through the school year, we want to remind everyone of a few important guidelines to ensure a productive and respectful environment for all.

Restroom Use: Please prioritize using the restroom during designated breaks and lunchtimes. If you need to use the restroom during class, please do so quickly and return to class promptly. The restroom is not a place for playing or taking extended breaks.

Requesting Breaks: If you need a break during class, please request a VTO (Voluntary Time Out) from your teacher and check in with the front office. This helps us maintain a safe and organized environment.

Scent Policy: A friendly reminder that scented products like body spray, cologne, or perfume should not be sprayed in classrooms or restrooms. This helps ensure that everyone can focus on learning without distractions or discomfort.

Cash at School:For safety and security reasons, students are advised not to bring more than $20 to school for purchases at Winston Corner. If you have more than $20, please see Mrs. Lizette in the office. She will securely hold any excess cash until the end of the school day.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in following these guidelines. Your attention to these matters helps create a positive and respectful school community.

Best regards,

Joshua Weeden
