The initial AV installation is complete, but there are still several areas that still need to be finalized.

All campuses will eventually have both the T-Coil hearing loop and Bluetooth, Listen Now, but we do not have any ETA from IT when that will be completed.

stuff that makes RiverWoods so unique.

The Boulders Art Committee hosted another successful art reception titled “UnReal Estate.” Many Boulders residents lent their paintings, sculptures, and photographs of landscapes, which added to such a beautiful art gallery. Our Welcoming Committee also took this opportunity to welcome some of newest Boulders residents!

Coming Soon is a treat to make your Sunday brunch even more special. We are trying something new this spring and will offer musical accompaniment for the next few months on the last Sunday of the month.

We hope you enjoy this new special treat...

  • Heart health came to fruition this Valentine's week with a culmination of fitness classes, outings, and nourishing valentines.
  • One hundred and fifty valentines were compiled with delicious, healthy trail mixes and heartwarming comical monsters to brighten and energize residents following fitness classes.
  • And there was an added "heart boost" in the Boxing Circuit class, with new equipment!
  • Did someone say, "sled"? Yes, class participants were challenged to a whole-body workout pushing and pulling a sled with weighted plates up to 90 lbs., testing their core, upper, and lower body strength and stabilization.
  • We closed the week with Northeast Passage for a field trip to Creek Archery Range, where we worked on building and testing our target skills with Cupid's arrows. It was truly a heartfelt week!
  • The team completed 11+ work orders this week.
  • The team managed snow removal and treatment for two small storms.
  • The team monitors incoming storm forecasts, and all snow response vehicles are prepped and ready to go.
  • Bartlett Tree Service has been on site this week doing tree removals. The work has progressed without a hitch so far, and they are ahead of schedule. Work at the Woods campus is complete. They will be finishing up at the Ridge and Boulders today and tomorrow. Trees to be removed have red flagging ribbons affixed to them. Stump grinding is being scheduled. Please check back here next week for updates.
  • Several ‘rainy’ day projects were tackled in the landscape barn.
  • Staff News: Cam Arlen and his wife Paige welcomed their first child on Saturday, a boy, Madden Cameron. Marc Dahlquist joined the team as a Landscape Technician. We are very excited to have Marc join the team and wasted no time throwing him into snow removal.

"Really, this is the very worst time of year to be making plans. Winter in these climes keeps a person trapped inside for so long that by the time February comes around, one is positively delusional with grandiose plans for the coming year." --Posted by Rundy under 'Wishlist' 2/14/04 Cold Climate Gardening
