Schedule of Meetings & Events

"Worship as Evangelism" taught by Gary Young. This is a six-part series from the PC-USA study series: Being Reformed: Faith Seeking Understanding. The mission of the "Being Reformed" studies is to help "Presbyterians grow in understanding elements that are foundational and significant for their faith." Presbyterians certainly understand the central importance of worshiping God and the manner in which we structure our worship. Presbyterian worship is more than praising God and following a liturgy, as important as those two features truly are. This study begins with the question "Who is seeking God and what are they looking for?" The remaining five lessons explore what is involved with our worship, how it applies especially to Presbyterians, and how the message of God's salvation embodied in our worship can also appeal to non-Presbyterians in our community.
