Don't be late!
Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend. If your clocks don't adjust on their own, but sure to move them ahead an hour before you go to bed Saturday night. Don't worry, the coffee will be ready when you get to church Sunday morning!
On the fourth Sunday of Lent
Jim Warren will preach on
God's Will and God's Wisdom, making reference to 1 Corinthians 1:18-25.
Paul writes that many regard the message of Jesus Christ as "foolishness." To those who believe, however, it is power and wisdom.
Come to either (or both) the 9:00 traditional or 10:15 progressive service. Enjoy a gift of music by the chancel choir at the earlier service. Or tap your toes to a live worship band at the later service (in Fellowship Hall, complete with complimentary light breakfast).
Gifts for Another Table:
Non-perishable food items brought to church during March will be given to Home Sweet Home Mission. Suggestions are: boxed rice dinners, pasta & sauce, potato dinners & sauce, Hamburger Helper, instant mashed potatoes, and canned fruits & vegetables.
