Worship This Weekend
FCC Stained Glass

He is Risen!  This Sunday is Easter and so we wrap up our Holy Week with the final installment of our Giving It Up and Taking It On sermon series.  Rev. Jim Warren will preach at a special 7:30 a.m. Sonrise service, as well as the traditional 9:00 a.m. and progressive 10:15 a.m. services.  His sermon, Giving Up Death and Taking on Life, explores John 20:11-18 About the sermon, Jim says, "As we celebrate today the victory of God over death in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we'll ask where death prevails in our lives and where we need to experience life."

Come a little early.  You are invited to place flowers (found in baskets at the doors to the sanctuary or Fellowship Hall) on the cross near the communion table before each service.

We will have baptisms this Sunday at the 9:00 a.m. service!  Come celebrate those being baptized and offer them a word of congratulations and support after the service, and do so over a delicious breakfast in the centrum around 10:00 a.m.  If you prefer to go to the 7:30 a.m. service, coffee will be available afterward, also in the centrum.

Music will be wonderful!  At the 9:00 a.m. service, in addition to our reliably outstanding organ music by Lou Ann Fillingham, we will be blessed with a talented brass ensemble.  At the 10:15 a.m. service in Fellowship Hall, the One and All band will present excellent music appropriate to the joy of the day.  Because of the larger breakfast in the centrum, no light breakfast will be offered at One and All.

The Easter Offering will be taken this Sunday.
