Worship This Weekend
FCC Stained Glass

Rev. Neal Kentch will preach at both the 9:00 a.m. traditional and the 10:15 a.m. progressive worship services this Sunday. The scripture he will preach from is Mark 7:24-37, and the sermon title will be, "A Syrophoenecian Woman."

Another duet is planned for the Gift of Music at the 9:00 a.m. service, and this time it will be Holly Irvin and Brian Thompson on flute and clarinet.  At the 10:15 a.m. One and All service the band will not disappoint.  Come and enjoy a complimentary light breakfast, along with a unique worship experience.  We had a large group last week, including visitors!  Won't you join us this Sunday in Fellowship Hall?

Reminders
Things to Do While
You Are at Church

Drop Off School Supplies and Other Items for School Children. No Block Party this year, but Reach Out will be collecting supplies for Sheridan School and Bent School.  Please consider purchasing school supplies (1-inch binders, composition notebooks, colored pencils, dry erase markers, glue sticks, graph paper for math) and bringing them to the tote by the Info Desk. Also, gently used tennis shoes, coats, clothes for kids to change into in case of accidents, and new boys' and girls' underwear are needed.

Drop Off Items for "Undies Sundays" for men exiting Lincoln Correctional Center.  In partnership with Second Pres Church, we are collecting new men's undershirts, socks, and underwear.  A tote is located by the Info Desk.  Contact Julie Robinson with questions.  Her email:  [email protected]

Learn about Recycling/Trash Guidelines.  Watch the pre-worship and Centrum slides.  Also, find the guidelines attached to or posted near the prominent recycling bins throughout the building. Please be sure you are using the appropriate bins when disposing of items. Thank you!

Volunteer to Help Around FCC.  Find signup sheets at the Info Desk.

Drop off your Box Tops for Education in the Disciples Women's Ministries mailbox outside the church office door.

Make a new friend!  Greet a visitor. Greet someone another member has greeted!  Several contacts truly make a person feel welcome.  A great resource for helping a visitor is the bulletin, and you can also walk them to the Info Desk for another warm greeting,  more information, and a welcome gift!
