ALL, Y'all?" at both the 9:00 a.m traditional service and the 10:15 a.m. progressive service (One and All). The sermon will be the second in a series, which she's named, "So You Think You Want to Get Dusty for Jesus?"
The
Gift of Music at the 9:00 a.m. service -- a solo by Abby Logan -- is "Welcome," by Mark Miller, and is very appropriate to the theme. As always, at the 10:15 a.m. One and All service you can hear upbeat praise music by the band while you enjoy a complimentary light breakfast. At this service you can also find unique prayer stations and an intimate worship setting. Why not invite a friend (to either service) THIS Sunday?
 Please have your children remember to bring their backpacks this Sunday, when each child will receive a nice remembrance token to attach to the backpack as it is blessed in preparation for a wonderful school year. Has your child got a friend who would enjoy this? It's a great opportunity to share the warmth of FCC. The Blessing of the Backpacks will take place at both services.

You Are at Church
Indicate Interest in an FCC Movie Night at the Info Desk. If you would like to go with a group to see the movie, "Overcomer," at 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, at Starplex Theater in Normal, indicate so on a signup sheet at the Info Desk. No commitment at this point! Call Linda Metz at (309) 287-4478 if you have questions.
Pick Up an Updated Directory. Newly-printed Member Directories are available at Info Desk for those desiring an update. Update includes edits members made at the Info Desk a few weeks ago.
Drop Off School Supplies and Other Items for School Children.
Reach Out is collecting supplies for Sheridan School and Bent School. Teachers have requested a number of specific items. Please find a detailed list of needed items at the Info Desk. Some examples: Ziploc gallon bags, paper towels, plastic shoeboxes, glue sticks, tissues, pens, and Playdoh. Also, gently used tennis shoes, coats, clothes for kids
to change into in case of accidents, and new boys' and girls' underwear are needed.
Drop Off Items for "Undies Sundays" for men exiting Lincoln Correctional Center. In partnership with Second Pres Church, we are collecting men's new undershirts, socks, and underwear. A tote is located by the Info Desk until the end of August. Contact Julie Robinson with questions. Her email:

The church office is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the exception of Mondays, when the office closes at 3:00 p.m. instead. The office is closed from noon to 1:00 p.m. daily.
