This Sunday at both the 9:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. services, Rev. Jim Warren will teach about the story of Abraham and Isaac (the scripture passage is
Genesis 22:15-18). About it he says, "The story of Abraham's near sacrifice of his son Isaac is a chilling one filled with many unanswered and unanswerable questions. It's a story with which we struggle today. What can we learn from God's command to Abraham to sacrifice his son?"
At the 9:00 traditional service we will be presented with a gift of music by Jake Scheuring, one of our Drexler Singers. At the 10:15 progressive One and All service, the One and All Band will be outstanding as ever, with some of your favorites ready to enhance our worship. Come pray, worship, sing, and enjoy a light breakfast in Fellowship Hall.
Gifts for Another Table:
In January we are collecting items for the Boys and Girls Club. Please keep bringing latex gloves (large and small), 55-gallon and kitchen trash bags, Band-Aids, toilet paper, Ziploc sandwich, quart, and gallon-sized bags, and paper towels. Thank you!
