Worship This Weekend
FCC Stained Glass
Our "Did You Hear the One About..." sermon series has just two more installments, and this Sunday's is,
"Did You Hear the One About... the Investment Brokers?"

The Parable of the Ten Pounds tells about a nobleman who entrusted his money to his servants and expected them to make a profit on the money. God expects us to use wisely what God has given us.  Read the scripture here:  Luke 19:11-27.

The church gathers for worship at ONE service this Sunday!  Please come at 10:00 instead of your usual worship time.  In addition to a "combined" worship service instead of a traditional and progressive service, we will celebrate Dawn Craig, our Office Administrator, and wish her well on her excellent adventure of moving to Memphis, TN.  After the service, ALL are invited to gather in Fellowship Hall to wish her well and enjoy a light lunch together.  It promises to be a fun and delicious experience, and Dawn looks forward to visiting with each of us before her departure in the next couple of weeks.

There will be no childcare this Sunday.

Sign up to Give Blood at the July 20 Red Cross Blood Drive.  It's on a Friday at FCC and you can give between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.  Grab your favorite time slot, as we are only a week away from the event!  Not sure if you're eligible?  If you gave at FCC in April and haven't since then, you are safe to do so if you meet all other requirements.  Thank you for your support!

Support the 2018 Block Party 4 School Kits
by signing up and getting details at the Information Center.  Also support the block party by purchasing a Block Party T-shirt and by dropping new toothpaste and toothbrushes at the Information Center (ask your dentist when you go for a cleaning!).

OR, Support the 2018 Block Party by signing up at the Information Center to bake cookies for the lunches served that day (August 4) or a cake or two for the cake walk, also taking place during the event.

Check In on Facebook while you are at church.  And at the One and All service feel free to use your device for social media, to share photos and thoughts about your worship experience as it happens.  Our Check-Ins have been increasing.  Keep up the great work!

Make a new friend!  Greet a visitor. Offer a kind word and share a bulletin.  Answer questions and walk them to the Information Center where a variety of information can be obtained.  Show new or frequent visitors how warm and inviting FCC can be.
