The "Did You Hear the One About..." sermon series continues t
his S
unday with Rev. Jim Warren asking, "Did You Hear the One About the Late Workers?"
Attend
the 9:00 traditional or the 10:15 progressive One and All service and hear Jim teach us about this parable and its meaning. In Matthew 20:1-16, the landowner hires workers throughout the day and pays them all the same. How fair is that?
We will once again have a special gift of music at the 9:00 a.m. service, this time a solo by Jeffrey Courtright. Excellent music can also be heard at the 10:15 One and All service in Fellowship Hall, where our band leads uplifting praise music each week. Come enjoy a light breakfast while you worship at this casual service.
Gifts for Another Table:
"Ministry & More is one of our favorite food pantries!" - Jim G., Nancy G. and Pete W. This has been a good month of collecting; let's make it a GREAT month. While out shopping, please pick up a couple of items and bring them to the church before August 31. Needed are canned fruit and vegetables, boxed meals such as Hamburger Helper and macaroni and cheese, canned soup, crackers, cookies, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, and instant mashed potatoes.
