Worship This Weekend
FCC Stained Glass

This Sunday we dive into our "Did You Hear the One About..." sermon series with a story from Luke about the Good Samaritan.  Rev. Jim Warren calls his sermon, "Did You Hear the One About... the Lawyer?"   A lawyer sought to justify himself before Jesus and asked, "Who is my neighbor?" Jesus answered with the Parable of the Good Samaritan and said that a neighbor is someone in need.  Read the scripture passage here:  Luke 10:25-37

Come to the 9:00 service and experience a traditional worship environment, including hymns and a gift of music.  Come to the 10:15 service for a more progressive worship experience, complete with a band and creative prayer stations.  Invite a friend to attend with you.  We will have donut holes and coffee around 10:00 in the Centrum, and the 10:15 One and All service offers a complimentary light breakfast to enjoy while you worship.  What better way to welcome a new friend?

Reminders
Things to Do While
You Are at Church

Help Promote VBS with a VBS Button!  We have had 180 VBS buttons gifted to us!  If anyone will take one and wear it this week and promote VBS that would be super.  Pick yours up at the Information Center.

Support the 2018 Block Party 4 School Kits
by signing up and getting details at the Information Center.  Also support the block party by purchasing a Block Party T-shirt and by dropping new toothpaste and toothbrushes at the Information Center (ask your dentist when you go for a cleaning!).

Check In on Facebook while you are at church.  And at the One and All service feel free to use your device for social media, to share photos and thoughts about your worship experience as it happens.

Make a new friend!  Greet a visitor. We are seeing more and more visitors lately and they seem to love a friendly greeting.  Show folks around and help them with questions they might have.  Invite them to worship and/or to share fellowship over a cup of coffee or breakfast treat.  The bulletin is a great source of information for visitors, as is the Information Center.  Let's be a welcoming church!
