Worship This Weekend
FCC Stained Glass
Rev. Jim Warren will be preaching this Sunday, Pentecost, on Acts 2:1-8; 12-21.  The name of the sermon is, "Filled with the Holy Spirit."  If you like to wear red in honor of the gift of the Holy Spirit, don't forget to do so this Sunday!
Come hear Jim preach at the 9:00 a.m. traditional service or the 10:15 a.m. progressive One and All service.
Our gift of music at the 9:00 a.m. service, a solo, will be presented by Moises Garcia.  Come to the 10:15 a.m. progressive service for upbeat music by the One and All band and a light breakfast and hot coffee.

Today we celebrate God's gift of the Holy Spirit, who is not ours to keep but is ours to share.
Things to Do While
You Are at Church

Support the Mission Trip Group. The King's Carpenters are taking a group to Clarksdale, MS, June 17-22 to do some additional work. Mike and Julie Robinson are leaving on June 12 to begin purchase of materials. Donations are still needed for the trip for food, gas, and other materials. See Julie Robinson if you are able to help. Prayers for safety and well-being are always appreciated.
Find Out about the Mary and Martha Benefit for the Warrens taking place June 22 and 23 by talking to Linda Metz, Marcia Christensen, or Leslie Frizzell.  See The Messenger or your bulletin for details.  Volunteers are needed.
Drop Off School Supplies and Other Items. No Block Party this year, but Reach Out will be collecting supplies for Bent School.  Please consider purchasing school supplies and bringing them to the tote by the Info Desk. Also, gently used tennis shoes, coats, clothes for kids to change into in case of accidents, and new boys' and girls' underwear are needed.
Learn about Recycling/Trash Guidelines.  Watch the pre-worship and Centrum slides in the coming weeks. Also, find the guidelines attached to or posted near the prominent recycling bins throughout the building. Please be sure you are using the appropriate bins when disposing of items. Thank you!
Volunteer to Help Around FCC.  Find signup sheets at the Info Desk.
Drop off your Box Tops for Education in the Disciples Women's Ministries mailbox outside the church office door.
Make a new friend!  Greet a visitor. Greet someone another member has greeted!  Several contacts truly make a person feel welcome.  A great resource for helping a visitor is the bulletin, and you can also walk them to the Info Desk for another warm greeting and more information.
